If you are a registered user and upload images to the site, you should avoid uploading images containing EXIF GPS location data. Visitors to the site can download the images from the site and view the location data.

Cookies

Our cookie policy can be found on the cookie statement

Embedded content from other sites

Messages on this site may contain embedded content (e.g. videos, images, messages, etc.). Embedded content from other sites behaves exactly the same as if the visitor has visited this other site.

These sites may collect information about you, use cookies, embed additional tracking from third parties and monitor your interaction with this embedded content, including recording your interaction with embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that site.

Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "analytical cookies", which are text files placed on your computer, to help the website analyze how users use the site. This information is used to improve the quality and effectiveness of this website.

For the use of these analytical cookies it is not required to first request the consent of website visitors, provided that the 4 steps as included in the manual privacy friendly settings of Google Analytics of the Dutch Data Protection Authority (College Bescherming Persoonsgegevens) are met.

This site complies with the above 4 steps and informs you as follows:

  1. A processing agreement has been concluded with Google;
  2. Google Analytics settings are privacy friendly, meaning that the information is anonymized as much as possible. The ip-address consists of 4 so-called octets of 3 digits each. For this site we have chosen to mask the last octet of the ip-address;
  3. In the default settings of Google Analytics, the option "share data with Google" is disabled. This means that the information collected is not shared with Google or others. Also, Google is not allowed to use the obtained information for other Google services;
  4. Visitors are informed on the website about the use of Google Analytics.

Finally, we inform you that no other Google services are used in combination with Google Analytics cookies.

With whom we share your data

When you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we retain your information

When you leave a comment, that comment and the metadata of that comment will be saved forever. This way we can automatically recognize and approve follow-up responses instead of having to moderate them.

For users who register on our site (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their username). Site administrators may also view and edit this information.

What rights do you have over your data

Where we send your information

It is possible that responses from visitors are checked via an automated spam detection service.

How we protect your information

What data breach procedures we have implemented

If necessary, external assistance will be called in and involved data processors will be contacted to determine the nature and extent of the data breach and to further combat it. The team will determine the impact of the data breach and based on this will make a recovery plan and inform the authorities and people involved.
